Senior management have informed us that they are enacting all recommendations from the Department of Transport and have issued staff bulletins.

Our advice to members remains to be extremely vigilant at all times and to report any suspicious behaviours or incidents.

You should not do anything that would risk your personal safety or that of others if you deem an item or individual to be a cause of danger. As we have previously said, we do not believe that it is any part of a drivers role to open up suspicious parcels or bags.

We have raised directly with senior management the many complaints from members about the lack of adequate information during and after security incidents. An emergency H&S forum will take place on Tuesday to discuss this and other concerns.
